Announcing Texas Urban Realty’s Giving Back Program

Texas Urban Realty and Texas Urban Property Management are pleased to announce a new Giving Back program, which will donate $500 each month to a non-profit.

“There are so many great and deserving organizations, and I want to do my part to help support them,” said TUR and TUPM Owner and Broker Christine Chau. “Especially now when we are dealing with so much uncertainty, I want to do what I can to help these causes thrive.”

Non-profits may apply for consideration for the donation from the Texas Urban Realty Giving Back page. It’s also required that organizations make a short video about why they should be chosen and tag @texasurbanrealty on Facebook in the post.

To kickstart the program, Chau announced that Sock It to ‘Em Sock Campaign will be the first recipient. A volunteer-driven non-profit that has donated over 650,000 socks to the homeless and other groups such as schoolchildren, the donation will support ongoing fundraising, which has been hampered by the pandemic.

Founder Sue Lee offered “a huge thank you to Christine Chau with Texas Urban Realty and Property Management for the fabulous contribution.” Describing her non-profit’s selection as the first recipient in the giving program as “awesome,” she said, “We so appreciate being chosen. Thank you so much!”

Chau said she is “thrilled to be able to support Sock It to ‘Em’s mission of providing socks to those in need. Sue Lee described her organization as making a ‘social impact one pair of socks at a time’, and I really liked that personal way of approaching her mission.”
